Matthew 5:43-45 - “[Love for Enemies] "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Brought to you by BibleGateway.com. Copyright (C) NIV. All Rights Reserved. Welcome to Charleston Baptist Association Online!
We are thirty Southern Baptist Churches and Missions located in three counties (Scott, Mississippi and New Madrid Counties) in Southeastern Missouri who voluntarily cooperate with one another to accomplish God's Kingdom ministries. We are Bible-believing followers of Jesus Christ who seek to proclaim the gospel message of salvation in Jesus Christ alone. We seek to grow Christians into mature disciples of Jesus and then send them out to engage in missions ministries.
Our Association exists to accomplish these three significant objectives: (1) to encourage fellowship and cooperation among our member churches and missions; (2) to serve as a resource center for our churches and the community; and (3) to engage in life-changing missions ministries locally, regionally and globally. We want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. Feel free to browse through the various areas of our website and learn about our Association.
If you are considering relocating to our area, we would love to have you be our guest for Sunday School and worship at one of our member churches or missions.
When you visit our Association Camp and Offices, you will find:
- A beautiful, inviting 70-acre tract of woods and grasslands.
- Camping facillities for the churches and community groups, including a dormitory, chapel, dining hall and swimming pool.
- Office and conference room for meetings.
- A Christ-centered atmosphere where we always seek to honor God.
In His Care,
Dick Smith, Director of Missions | Charleston Baptist Association 4855 State Highway 77 Benton, Missouri 63736 Telephone: 573 545 3561 Fax: 573 545 3504
